Макар че има доста филмчета по темата из форума, искам да концентрирам вниманието ви върху заключването на делтапланера при теглене:

Ето един добър пример. Ясно се вижда бездействието на пилота. За да избегнем LOCKOUT трябва:
1. да управляваме крилото, да внимаваме за ъгъла на атака да не е много голям и да подаваме лява или дясна команда, като се стремим да запазим движението, по посока на теглещата сила.
2. при усещане за загуба на контрол, веднага придърпване за скорост и силна команда, за да може да остане крилото в правата
3. силата на теглене да не е прекалено силна
4. ако пилота няма достатъчно опит, да се изберат ламинарни условия и да бъде теглен с умерена сила
5. още на земята, трабва да сте се подготвили всеки един момент да се откачите, както и ако откачането не сработи, да използвате предвидения за това нож.
6. след откачане под напрежение, трябва да придърпате, за да сте сигурни, че крилото не е в срив и е възстановило ъгъла си на атака и скороста, теглено само от земната гравитация. След откачане се усеща сериозно пропадане до възстановяване на полетно състояние
7. не разчитайте на "бушона" да ви спаси от заключване
8. при нарушаване целоста на крилото, не забравяйте да ползвате спасителния парашут
накратко, за да бъде изпълнен височинен влек, трябва пилота да има основни знания и опит.
